Z začetkom novega tisočletja smo pri Gledališču Ane Monro ugotovili, da razvoj ne bo mogoč, če ostanemo zaprti v domače okvire. Tako smo začeli sodelovati z drugimi festivali in organizatorji po Evropi. Od leta 2003 – 2006 smo bili partnerji v mreži Eunetstar, v letih 2008 in 2009 pa soorganizatorji v Mreži Meridians, koprodukcijski mreži festivalov iz Velike Britanije, Belgije, Francije, Nemčije, Španije, Italije, Švedske in Slovenije. V okviru te mreže smo kot koproducent nastopili pri  dveh mednarodnih predstavah: Kontejner Alhambra (premiera je bila leta 2008 na Ani Desetnici v Ljubljani) ter Spomni se bodočnosti (premiera je bila leta 2008 v Veliki Britaniji). Že od leta 2001 smo tudi partnerji v mreži Circostrada, mednarodni dokumentalistični in informacijski mreži, v kateri so člani iz 25 evropskih dežel.

Trenutno se dogovarjamo se za nadaljevanje mreže Meridinas in za koprodukcijo nove predstave Kaspar Hauser z bristansko gledališko skupino Signdance Collective. Smo tudi pobudniki in vodje projekta Jambor Evrope, enega od 16 temeljnih programov v okviru projekta Maribor – Evropska prestolnica kulture 2012. Projekt bo povezal obe aktualni prestolnici kulture, Maribor in Guimaraes na Portugalskem z bodočo prestolnico Marseille (2013) in preteklima v Italiji, Španiji in na Portugalskem. Združena pa ne bodo le mesta ampak tudi prebivalci in umetniki iz vseh teh dežel.

INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION

As the Ana Monro Theatre entered the new millennium, we realized the development is only possible if our activity was extended to other countries. Therefore we began to cooperate with other festivals and organizers throughout Europe. From 2003 to 2006 we were members of Eunetstar, and in 2008 and 2009 of Meridians, a co-production network of festivals from Great Britain, Belgium, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Sweden and Slovenia. We have been co-producers of two international performances within this network: Alhambra Container (the premiere was held at the Ana Desetnica Festival in 2008) and Remember the Future (the premiere was held in Great Britain in 2008). Since 2001 we have been partners in Circostrada, the international information and exchange network containing all the 25 European countries as members.

Currently we are arranging a further membership in the Meridians and a co-production of a new performance Kaspar Hauser with a British theatre group Signdance Collective. We are initiators and organizers of the Jambor Evrope project, one of the 16 basic programmes within the project Maribor – the European Capital of Culture 2012. The project will link the two cultural capitals of 2012, Maribor and Guimaraes, with the future capital Marseilles (2013) and the past capitals of culture in Italy, Spain and Portugal. This will not only form a liaison among cities but among the inhabitants and the artists of these countries as well.
