Slow motion burlesque


Is it self service emergency rooms what is waiting for us in the future.? Especially for people who do not have enough money to afford a doctor? You can seek for the answer in the new show of Ana Monro Theater form Slovenia, Europe. Without words, with minimalist and very expressive and sometimes almost grotesque acting. In this pantomime we can see fate of four persons - intellectual, worker, peasant and mountaineer - who are obliged to cope with such a situation.

Futuristic pantomime EMERGENCY ROOM is short piece inspired by troubles of health care system in one of the so-called New European Countries, caused by transition. Its iconography is taken from ironic comics. In spite of its social note, it is entertainment above al and so suitable for all public, form age 3 to 99.

The show can be played indoors or outdoors, daytime or nighttime
Technical requirements: stage 4x4m, height 30 - 60 cm with stairs,
electric (220V/16A), guarded changing room,
if show in nighttime simple white lightning is needed
